NCBPMA April Event: Marketing to Libraries

Libraries provide enormous sales opportunities to book publishers, and so it is always important for us to remain on the cutting edge of knowing how best to market our books to them. Our guests have extensive experience both at Baker & Taylor and in the world of public libraries and can talk about the selection process of libraries as well as how publishers can enhance their marketing strategies and programs to improve their chances of getting books into libraries.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, April 24th, 12:30 to 2:30pm at Jillian’s @ the Metreon in San Francisco.

More About Our Guest:
David Hargrave is Director of Sales, Western Region, for Baker & Taylor. Currently managing sales to public libraries in 28 states, David has 19 years of experience at Baker & Taylor holding several positions
including video and music retail sales group. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Anthony Halstead is Library Sales Consultant at Baker & Taylor. For the past 4 years he has served the regions of Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Northern Nevada and Idaho. Prior to his time at Baker & Taylor he served as a Public Librarian for 7 years in Texas and California. He holds a Masters in Information Science from the
University of North Texas.
