The Northern California Book Publicity & Marketing Association (NCBPMA) is an organization devoted to education about the publicity, promotion, marketing, and distribution of books throughout Northern California and beyond. Founded in 1975 by a group of twelve publicists as the Northern California Book Publicists' Association (NCBPA), the group changed its name to recognize the marketing functions its programs frequently feature and the breadth of its membership.

The NCBPMA membership includes a broad spectrum of publishing colleagues: publicity, promotion, marketing and sales professionals within publishing houses; freelance book publicists and marketing consultants; literary agents, authors, media escorts, trade associations, wholesalers, and others.
